M2 High Steel Powder
M2 is a known high speed steel, also called as DIN 1.3343 and also named by HS 6-5-2. It is tungsten-molybdenum high speed steel (HSS), widely used for cutting tools and wear-resistant applications.
M2 spherical powder can be used in 3D printing which can eliminate the coarse, segregated carbides typical of conventionally cast M2, resulting in a microstructure with uniformly distributed fine carbides.
Our spherical M2 powder is produced by gas atomization and PREP with various particle size for different processing methods, such as 15-45um, 15-53um or 20-63um for LPBF, 45-105um for DED.
