Nickel Based Tungsten Carbide Powders
Nickel Based Tungsten Carbide Powders—Introduction:
Irregular shape crushed or sintering agglomeration spherical tungsten carbide-nickel alloy matrix powders are developed by TRUER for application of surfacing with PTA.
Particle distrubition designed for homogenous mix of tungsten carbide in metallic matrix of nickel alloy powder. This achieved even hardness of PTA overlay.
Wirh the help of self-fluxing chemistiry of nickel alloy matrix, lower heat is required for PTA welding, which minimizes the dissolution of carbides. Tungsten carbide-nickel alloy matrix produce coatings hard, dense and especially resistant to low stress abrasion and erosion to find its uses in mining, oil and gas, food, agricultural and machinery industries.
Características:
Nickel alloy matrix powder is produced by gas atomization process to form spherical powder.
Tungsten carbide or WC-12Co or WC-10Ni are produced by crushed or sintering agglomeration process to form irregular shape or spherical powder respectively.
The mix of Tungsten carbide powder and nickel alloy powder is by blending process.
