420 Stainless Steel Powder
420 also is called as 1.4021 (often designated as X20Cr13) in DIN/EN grade.
420 stainless steel powder is a high-carbon martensite stainless steel known for its excellent hardness, wear resistance and moderate corrosion resistance.
It is widely used in additive manufacturing (3D printing) for applications requiring sharp edges, high strength or good wear performance.
Unlike austenite stainless steel powder (316L, 304L), 420 is magnetic and can be heat treated to achieve high hardness (up to 50-55HRC after tempering)
Normally our 420 powders are produced by gas atomization.
