class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>IMI 829<\/strong> contains mixtures of Titanium, Aluminium, Tin, Zirconium, Niobium and Molybdenum. It is lightweight high temperature alloy with high tensile, fatigue strength &amp; toughness and very good creep &amp; corrosion resistance, even at extreme temperatures, specially applied for compressor discs and engine blades.<\/p><p><strong>IMI-829,<\/strong> a near-alpha and beta heat treated titanium alloy, is produced by Plasma Rotating Electrode Process (PREP) in the form of powder with common particle size distribution 45-150um or 45-105um.<\/p><p><strong>Particle characterization<\/strong> of <strong>PREP IMI 829 powders<\/strong> can be checked by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), including the shape, size distribution and particle surface features (see Fig. 1). Table 1 showed the weight percentage range of each element of the powder.
